OFFICIAL WEIGH IN So, I've just come back from holiday in Guam with my fiance. Buffet meals galore, no exercise. Here we go.. 8.11.12 - 81.4 Kilos (179 lbs)
Today I hit 179/180lbs
I almost cried I was so giddy. That may not seem like a lot but I was seriously walking that line to 190 and there's a HUGE difference from being 20lbs away from 200 and 10lbs away. All I've really been doing is cutting my portion sizes in half and trying not to consume too much pop. But seriously, 179!!! I mean I weighed myself TWICE because I was sure the scale didn't come up with the right number and I thought I was slightly off of it the first time. Being back in the 170s after seeing 180+ for so long has really given me hope and a new goal. If I'm the right size by the end of the semester I may be able to forgo the juice fast!! :)
Still, despite this, I'm expecting to be back in the 180s tomorrow simply because that's how my body works. I can say, though, that I have seen a physical difference as well as a numerical difference. My stomach is always the first place to lose weight, ALWAYS. If I feel even a little bit smaller all I have to do is look at my mid section to see if I am, and today it was smaller than it was at the beginning of the week. I'm happy about that, but the place I really want to lose weight is my thighs. I mean, don't get me wrong! I'm SO happy I was blessed with a hour-glass figure so I'm "proportional" on the top and bottom, and not a apple or pear shape where I'd be big in just the middle or the hips, respectively, but it's going to be harder to lose weight in my thighs. That's my "problem" area so to say. I don't too much care if my boobs shrink or stay the same size (though it'd be nice if they were to conveniently shrink to a B/C-cup when I get to the size I want to be).
This week I'm supposed to be working out, and as of now I still plan too, but with this RA job you never know. The places I want to work on most are my legs, butt, and arms. I've recently become slightly obsessed with my arms because of recent pictures. I don't want muscly type arms but it'd be nice if they weren't flabby like they are now. As for my butt... really it's just so I can post a pic post weight-loss that reads "Check out my ASSets, did it myself" LOL I don't have a huge behind, nor do I want one, it's a nice size but I want it to be "lifted", in a sense. And my thighs I've already explained.
Tomorrow, maybe after classes, I'll be going to the gym and just easing into a workout routine. I know if I push myself too much, 1. I'll be sore, and 2. I'm not going to want to go back. I think I'll do a 30-45min brisk (for me) walk and some weights for my arms. I'll worry about abs later, after I've gotten a bit of my stamina back. I'm looking forward to getting down to the 160s! :)
Slowly but surely, I've lost 21lbs. It doesn't seem like much of a difference, but I feel great. I've had a few draw backs, such as having fast food a few times, or going over my calorie count, and late night snacking.
But I've been getting back on track, and it feels awesome. I just need to push myself to exercise more, and I think the weight will come off much quicker.
Goal weight is eventually 140lbs.
