Am I the only one kind of missing CO? I hate the idea of JB keeping $ from them and obv everything else, but damn do I wish some streamer would reboot it so I can see what looniness Jessa is up to and what Jana’s got going on in the garden.
What I really miss are the 'kids and counting' seasons tbh. I did like Counting On sometimes just bc I'm always curious what these bozos are up to but when I had COVID I did a partial rewatch of both and CO feels kinda sanitized comparatively........there are like obviously scripted parts in both but the CO ones somehow don't add anything interesting lol, it's all plots like "today we took down a tree" and "jana does a craft with the kids".
Most of the Duggars have youtubes these days if you're wondering what they're up to, Jessa's is the only one I sometimes watch but it's decent. Jana does have one but hasn't updated it for like a year.
i watched 17kac very high last night in an attempt to have some sort of Duggar epiphany but all I got out of it was: 1. Michelle definitely has a Xanax prescription* 2. Jim Bob has always had the toupee
6/10 only sorta recommend
me watching 6 year old Justin on 17kac and realizing he'll be married soon:
y'all i'm watching a 17kac episode where Amy goes on a trip to Branson with the Duggars and Bates and there are a few talking heads of Jill talking about Amy that, knowing the future, made me tear up a bit I'm not gonna lie lol
Also I always forget how funny Amy is, there are a few times in this episode she's made me actually laugh out loud (like when she says her ipod is her best friend while she's in the car wth the Duggars).
I'm rewatching J*sh's engagement episodes and Michelle basically looks at Jana and says "Well next is Jana, then John David...." and I'm convinced at that moment she internally was like "hmmmmm ok bitch we'll see"

I really forgot how sassy and hilarious Amy used to be. They went to some like pioneer historical place with the Bates and the producers asked her why the Duggars liked it and she said "they like it cus it's christian, and it's, um, they all wear the same kinda dresses that (people) used to wear. Or that the Bates still wear."
I snorted water.
