It’s 2026 and I’ve not come on here in at least 3 years but there is so much happening and no one for me to truly connect about it on. I came here immediately wondering if any of you would as well.

When you watch old episodes of Counting on and see future spouses in the background
that ask about joy that was in the queue today reminded me, i've been trying to rewatch Counting On and it's like............so incredibly boring tbh. i keep looking for episodes that have some family gatherings or something interesting and there will maybe be one, with literally every other episode having something to do with dating or getting ready for a wedding or asking the same 5 questions to whoever's pregnant at the time ("are you nervous? are you excited? how do you think this birth will be different than your last one or your moms or your sisters"). like the theme of each season is Who's Getting Married Now? with the B plots being Who Is Pregnant Again or Someone's Dating Someone And Won't Tell Us Til It's Official But We're Going To Ask Them About It For 10 Episodes Anyway.
and then all the C and D subplots are like When Will Jana Finally Get Married? Let's Ask Her About It While She's Building This Treehouse or Look Now The Boys Are Building Something! And Thats The Only Time We Care About Them For Some Reason and the only dialogue included between the girls is usually related to dating or marriage or babies like, it's really amazing this didn't get canceled sooner tbh it is SO boring lol. even for someone interested in these people like me.
the only sort of interesting parts are the rare big family gatherings (Jim Bob is visibly excited to be on camera again), the few conversations Anna has about Josh, and the parts where they set the Duggars up to look dumb by asking them things like what Bonjour means.
