Week 17: indulging a craving. (lol, I’m going to keep labeling each of these with a number until I have those 52 poems I challenged myself to post, who cares about what year it is, time is meaningless!)
Matilda folds origami jellyfish because she imagines a sea teeming with mechanical joy, but inattentiveness earns her their sharp papercut stings. She folds a sea turtle to solve the problem; its fiber jaw munching through streamer tentacles, its flippers waving in time to her delight.
