 Nick twisted the key in the lock and opened the door to his house.

‘Honey?’

There was no answer, but Nick wasn’t worried as sometimes they got home before he did, because they were sometimes driving their library around on the other side of town.

He flicked on the lights, which thankfully weren’t very bright, and was able to see Belle asleep on the couch and Kelly sitting under the coffee table. They wear wearing an apron, and Kelly appeared to have smears of something on his face. Confused about this Nick hung his coat up on the rack, before going and picking his son up.

‘Now. What is it you’ve been doing today, Kelly?’

Kelly pointed at the kitchen bench, where a small cake was sitting under a glass cover. 

Oh, no wonder they were tired. They were probably exhausted from trying not to burn the house down.

Nick smiled, and walked over to the couch. He placed some pillows on the floor and took the seat next to his fiance, placing Kelly on his lap. He could not have asked for a better thing to come home to on his birthday.

Tower of God episode 12 was whatever. Some new Khun got into a bit of a verbal scuffle with our Khun, Rachel did a dick move, and Yuri, who’s been wandering around for the entire show, at last does something. And all of these events don’t make me feel much. So yeah. This show’s sure fizzling out as it approaches its end, huh

Living with my mother was unpredictable and inconsistent.

One moment I could do anything I wanted and she didn’t care, the next minute she would be angry and tell me only prostitues go out at night. One day she would say I was ‘so fat’ and the next she would say I wasn’t eating, eat more. I was good, unlike my brother but I wasn’t good like so-and-so’s daughter, why couldn’t you be better. I was a burden, but when we were out for a meal she would order for me. One day she would be home, some days she would be living some else. I just never knew.

Tamayomi episode 12 was honestly a decent ending, glad the girls won, they had enough big deal character moments to where a loss would be really unsatisfying.
