So I just saw a post on the sun in the houses (x). My sun is in the 8th house and I guess I’ve never really identified with it you know? I didn’t feel that sensitive or that interested in the occult, in fact I found it stupid. But two quotes from the post stuck out to me:
‘Often, these individuals will begin as selfish or egotistical and be forced to transform into a more open, understanding, and beautiful being.’
‘This interest typically develops over the native’s lifetime, and may not be present right away.‘
When I was younger I was the bossiest, and most manipulative bitch out there. I ddin’t understand that other people had feelings too. I thought the whole world revolved around me. People hated me for this and so I hated myself. Over the past, probably, 4 years I have grown a lot. I’m proud to say that now I actually give a fuck about people and I try my hardest to listen.
I find it interesting tho because I didnt start developing myself until I got into the occult side of things. It was like it woke something up inside of me that had always been there. This need to help people came out of nowhere. Maybe it was when I read my birth chart and started reading how I could be. Maybe it was when I picked up my first tarot deck and felt it shuffle in my hands. Or maybe I just grew up.
I dont know and I might not ever know when I decided to change but I’m glad I did and I hope that I will continue to change into the person I was destined to be.
