This is the last summer I'm spending in this house one way or another. I'm not doing this every damn day of my life. Can't even take my dog outside without her being harassed by trespassers. So not fair to either of us.

Life has always felt like being at a party where you don't really know anyone and you can see everyone else is having a good time and people keep asking you to stay later, so you stay, but theyre not really interacting with you either, and the entire time you're standing by the door trying to think of an excuse to politely leave.
