Ashita no Nadja episode 5 was very very shoujo

Higurashi episode 7 was great, fuckin, I’m glad Gou’s endings to these arcs were dramatic enough changes to where I currently have 0 idea what’s going on and just get to be invested in the mystery and such. Also Rena’s vocal performance this episode was really good, she sounded pretty sufficiently serious yet reassuring, I really enjoyed her sound. Good time.

Yorimoi episode 7 streamed today and it was great! I think it’s got a lot of endearing SoL comedy as usual but this episode’s also great for playing to the personalities and greater motives of the crew we’re going with - most of them aren’t super relevant characters so it’s not like loads of time is spent fleshing them out but it’s established really strongly that Antarctica means as much to them as it does for our girls, and I think that’s a really important feeling to get across. Also suggests that kids and adults aren’t so different in a way I can respect, because it’s not like becoming an adult suddenly resolves you of any problems you have in your life, feels cool.
