19509 Listening to people insult Ash Costello on this page is like listening to high school mean girls explain why a girl isn’t cool enough to sit with them at the lunch table. They sound stupid and immature, but it’ll probably take a few years for them to grow enough to see how ridiculous they are being. Like, ohhh she’s not hardcore. Who cares??? Why does that matter? If you care about that over the music, I immediately assume you are 12 years or under. Who cares about social media? Who cares if you like her hair colour? What clothes she wears? From interviews I’ve seen, Ash is pretty cool with people acknowledging that her music has pop elements. It’s just you guys who struggle with it. I also want to point out that the guys in the band clearly have some influence on the music, but all of you only hate her as the front-woman. I can’t fathom why this page, celebrating females, is so full of misogyny. I want to find Ash, hug her, and tell her that it will be okay, we don’t all hate her for being a woman in rock.
