1968 Dodge Charger R/T | Scott Crawford - On Being Powerful…
"Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren’t.” - Margaret Thatcher In 1968, Chrysler Corporation unveiled a new ad campaign featuring a Bee with an engine on its back. These cars were called the “Scat Pack”. The Coronet R/T, Super Bee, Dart GTS and Charger R/T all received bumble-bee stripes (two thin stripes framing two thick stripes) that wrapped around the back of the car. The stripes were standard on the R/T’s and came in red, white or black. If the owner wanted to be a bit more subtle, they could be deleted at no cost.
Disclaimer: I also appreciate a good stripe. ;-)
