Ghanaian Presidents Kofi Abrefa Busia (11 July 1913 – 28 August 1978) was Prime Minister from 1969–72 after Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown by the military. He was the opposition leader during Nkrumah's presidency. In 1972, the military lead by Ignatius Kutu Acheampong overthrew him when he was in Britain for medical check-up.
