Family circle home decorating guide 1973.
It's like @bonappetitmag looked directly into my soul when putting together their newest issue! 😍🙆♀️🙌 My entire kitchen is pretty much vintage dishware and cookbooks I find at thrift stores, antique shops, and garage sales. Well actually, my entire house is 1970s furniture and decor found for next to nothing because not many revel in the tackiness of the 70's like I do. .. I am stupefied by how beautiful this cover is and how well it matches with some of my favorite vintage serving pieces, cookbooks, & 1970s kitchen things ❤
Royal Doulton Forest Flower, 4 Five Piece Place Settings, Orange, Green, Yellow, White A cheery, warm 1970s modern pattern. Would match so many vintage kitchen items from that era. Each setting has the following pieces, 1 cup and saucer, 3 cup and 6 saucer 1 butter plate, 6 1/2 1 salad plate or could be used as dessert plate, 7 7/8 1 dinner plate, 10 1/2 A discountinued pattern manufactured 1972 to 1978. In good condition, no chips or crazing. Not mint. There is some wear on the flowers from use and storage. Marked with Royal Doulton on the bottoms. Other matching pieces for sale in my shop, A beautiful, orange and white coffee or tea pot. An oval serving platter with the floral design. And an oval serving bowl that is orange and white.
Want a vintage look to your table? This is 4 place settings with 5 pieces. Orange green yellow and white. Cheery, warm 1970s pattern from Royal Doulton.
Corning Ware announcing new changes and the new Spice O' Life pattern. Better Home and Gardens. June 1974.
In 1972, Corning Ware made some changes to the original design and decided to add some new patterns alongside the iconic blue cornflower design. Although this ad ran in 1974, Spice O’ Life (also known as French Spice) was introduced in 1972 and if you grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s, it’s pretty much a guarantee that someone in your family had this pattern. Spice O’ Life was in production until 1987 and is the second most sought after pattern among collectors. Personally, I own the very rare, but very ‘70s folk-art inspired Country Festival pattern.
