This hand thrown stoneware teabowl is available for sale in my shop! It has two brown glazes that blend and create a range of shades. Like all my stoneware pottery, it is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.

We obtained the woodfire goodies from the kiln yesterday... and it was amazing. God so many really interesting and cool bits, we are this half folding table, 37 mugs and bunch of other goodies.

My two absolute FAVS, I told my spouse there was zero chance of them leaving our house and he agreed. I haven't yet sat down and taken nice photos, but here are some neat other ones!

It all just turned out so, so, so nice. The clay in the heat and ash turned this toasted marshmallow that I just love.

Listening to the Waves (Chōtō), stoneware with sand glaze (2004) Sakiyama Takayuki (Japanese, born 1958) created this stoneware vessel to mimic the rugged coastline near his home. Deep carved lines and a sandy glaze give the surface the appearance of moving water and rippling waves. The interior and exterior flow together in a seamless spiral that defies the traditional shape of a ceramic pot, capturing the energy of the natural world. Loc. This hand thrown stoneware yarn bowl is for sale in my shop! It has a heavy bottom to resist tipping, and features green leafy vines on one side and a dark grey spiderweb on the other, over a white glaze just translucent enough for the speckles in the clay to be clearly visible through it.
