Remember 4th June 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre 毋忘六四天安門屠殺
28 years ago, the Chinese government murdered hundreds of students with tanks and guns because they were protesting for a better future for China, for justice. There were 202 bodies identified with many others unknown. They were the youth of my country. They were university students. They were sons and daughters.
Today, we remember and honour them. They who sacrificed their life for us. Those who were silenced. And we honor their families who for all these years never give in and continue to seek justice. The Tiananmen Mothers.
There are many who start to forget about the tragedy of this event. And as a Hongkonger, I am proud that my city is still safe for now for those who wish to honor the protestors in Tiananmen Square Massacre. But my city is falling.
But still, I urge every one of you who read this to spread the word. Please don’t let the world forget. Please. We need justice, we need the martyrs be recognized. Remember them. Remember their families. Remember justice. Remember humanity.
In the midst of storm, we hold on tight to our freedom. 風雨中抱緊自由. (Beyond)
