My Thoughts on: Project Runway 19x6

Okay, since I just binged four episodes of Project Runway, I’m going to all my real time reactions of 19x6 here with some final thoughts at the end.

1. Katie, you shouldn’t have confidence at this point. Your designs have been BAD.

2. I like the idea of an design/accessory collaboration. Let’s hope this is interesting!

3. Okay, I love a cash prize, but $25,000 split between two people before taxes isn’t a lot. VISA couldn’t give more?

4. Bones and his accessory designer vibing about crystals is honestly so fun. I’m here for it.

5. Kristina’s father and grandfather worked in the space ship factory? I love learning these new things!

6. God, they have so much money! This shit better look good.

7. Anna’s green neon brocade fabric scares me. I think it also scares Christian.

8. I feel like doing a bathing suit is a bad idea, but what do I know?

9. Prajjé and Bones having a pinky swear to go to either Nigeria or Haiti together depending on which of them wins the prize money is my new favorite thing.

10. I feel bad, but I have to fast forward through Shantall’s emotions.

11. Christian making Bones put on a shirt on for his critique is such a big brother move.

12. The slit on Zayden’s dress is way too high. And the fabric is so basic. Like, they sell that dress at Target.

13. I hate everything about Aaron’s look except the bag.

14. Wtf is Chasity’s model wearing? Nope!

15. Mimi is always out here serving LOOKS.

16. The safe looks (except for Anna’s) are all probably the most boring so that makes sense, I guess? Chasity’s is straight up bad, though.

17. There is so little of interest in this episode that we are concerned about the rain.

18. Is this the episode where we’re finally getting rid of Katie? Please!

19. Update: Katie is out! Yay!

Overall, I was really bored by this episode. I felt like a collaboration challenge should be more fun, and so many of the designers missed the mark. Prajjé delivered excellence, though, and so did Anna. I’m not crazy about what Kristina did, but I understand why the judges went for it.
