I just received my first anime figure release of 2021 (not delay arrival of 2020), and I couldn’t be happier that it is the Emontoys 1:7 scale Accelerator figure! He’s so freaking beautiful, and so large! I kind of forgot he was 1:7 instead of the usual 1:8, also the shipping for this guy wasn’t super exaggerated, so I was a bit surprised when I received the shipping box and it was so big. I was a bit hesitant at first, although I did pre-order him the day he went up, because I haven’t owned figures by Emontoys before. I don’t think they produced that many.

He turned out amazingly gorgeous, however, so I’m over the moon! I missed the Alter 1:8, that was released back in 2013, still wish that it will be re-released one day (I have a nagging feeling that it was, but I don’t recall if/when?). I love this more grown up version, but I love the Alter one as well and I hope I can have him in my collection one day as well (anime figure grails are a huge pain in the gut and the wallet).

I was lazy to remove the box from the plastic protective bag, so these are terribly blurry, and I wasn’t able to get a good close up of his lovely face, but maybe I’ll try again with my better quality, but older than dust camera (which is also on its last legs!). I will definitely not unbox this figure (as I do with all my collectibles, unless I get doubles). If they re-release him and I have the extra funds, I will certainly get him again to unbox one. I was having a terrible migraine day, but he made it so much better (although I am still in pain)! I love this figure so much, I can’t say it enough, he’s gorgeous! (:
