Maxie rubbed the sides of his head, lowering his head for a mere moment as he carried on down the hallway. It was bright and early in the morning in Hoenn, yet it was just the continuation of the past few days for the Magma Leader. Still, he was awake despite the lack of sleep, running on coffee he had downed before leaving his office. The 11 o’clock meeting went smoothly, and now he would have time to relax a bit before heading back to paperwork. Hijiori trotted beside him, the Houndoom perking up when Courtney came into view, letting out a happy bark. “Ah, Courtney,” Maxie gave a small smile to the admin, stopping to greet her, “A pleasure to see you.”
