hmmm in this environment idk, but now that I’m thinking about her powers as being able to make specific neurons fire in a person’s brain, I want an AU where she works with people who have been traumatized/brainwashed to help them recover.

Maybe because Elizabeth and Aaron were the best among the people they auditioned?
if they had made the authenticity of the characters' race at all a priority, elizabeth and aaron would not have even been considered.

My headcanon is that Natasha thinks she knows what Steve wants (hence the matchmaking), but has no idea that she is what he needs (someone he can give up control to).
