First of all, 1D Media has the trademark for the name “Zayn Malik” ONLY in EU. Which means that in EU he cannot perform, drop albums, or sell merchandise marked as “zayn malik” without prior consent of the company. Imagine having to do these things under two different names: one for E.U. and one for the rest of the world!
The name of his online shop is his domain and if it was purchased and registered in the States, then there was no problem. But even if it was purchased and registered in UK , i don’t think it would have been a serious problem since it’s only a domain and nothing more; no one is making any money from the domain’s name.
P.S. If you check, the t-shirts’ logo is “zayn” and not zayn malik
