I honestly don’t think we know. Certainly publicly Lilo seems to be in touch, but I don’t see much that says Harry has a relationship with any of them, nor Zayn for that matter. They’ve gone their separate ways, as people do.

But the interviews with Harry and Niall also seemed to work very well. Harry was much more relaxed and talkative when it was the two of them together. For the MITAM promo, there were a couple with Liam and Harry in which Harry seemed to get a bit irritated with Liam.

I saw at least one of those. Liam has always been talkative, and like Zayn Harry needs a second to think. He could be so funny in 1d interviews, when he could get a word in. Such a charmer.

Yeah I don’t think personally that Harry and Louis were close after the early days, probably for lots of reasons. It’s just a feeling tho.

I think that's what makes their post 1d relationship a bit interesting because Liam and Niall were pretty much the only two Harry interacted with regularly but their post 1d relationship seems so onesided. I also can't remember Harry and Louis being paired off post 2012 though.

No, it was noticeable when Harry and Louis started interacting more after Zayn left. I thought those three had an interesting dynamic. It always seemed to be some iteration of a duo and never the three together, but I guess that’s generally true, like it was lilo and not lilo plus Niall or whatever. I have thought for a long time that both Harry and Zayn have 1d firmly in the rearview. Neither is sentimental about it where ot3 seems to be.

Yeah maybe. He’s complained in the past that Zayn changes his number all the time, but they do still have a lot of overlap in business and personal acquaintances. They all do.

There's just too much stuff there that fans like to ignore or massage away that honestly has always made me pause when it comes to idealizing their relationships with one another.

Fair enough. I’ve watched a lot of their stage performances on YT, and you can see signs of tension on the reg. I have no doubt they all hated each other at times. I’ve been watching more bts lately, because I’m a Namjoon fan, and as well trained as they are you can see little indicators with them too. People like to interpret it as sexual tension lol.
