Misunderstood
Sitting in my room, scrolling through tumblr, and I all I see is his face. Why am I doing this to myself? He's gone. Gone, gone, gone gone. I need to get that into my head. What should I do, though? I can't talk to anyone. I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's precious little perspective of him. I can't get over the fact that he's just walking around showing everyone once again how perfect his life is, but no one knew what he did to me. Even my life motto is ruined because of him: There will be light at the end of the tunnel. What a lie.

"Hey, hey! Wait up!" I called out to him as he was getting into his car. He turned around and once he saw it was me he flashed that beautiful smile and held his arms wide open welcoming me into them which I happily entered.
"Hey, I thought I missed you." He kissed the top of my head sweetly, making me blush.
"No, you almost did. Maybe you should wait until I get out of school before coming over." I laughed.
"Oh yeah. When are you getting out anyway?"
"Actually this is my last week! I'm done with high school finally! And it's summer and just, yes."
He paused for a second, eyes traveling my body with a little grin on his face before unexpectedly pulling me into another hug. He quickly unwrapped his arms from around me and ran to the passenger side, opening the door.
"Get in."
"Wh-what? I can't go anywhere with you, it's a school night and I have so much homewo-"
"Get in! Come on! You never go anywhere with me! I'll have you home before your roommates get back."
"Umm, they're barely even here half the time."
"Angel!"
I didn't even need any further convincing, I loved when he called me his angel.
"Fine, fine! I'm coming. Where are we going anyway?"
I hopped into the passenger seat as he got in the driver side, and we started our journey to somewhere. I learned we were going to a small, cute exotic restaurant.
"This is so cute! I've lived here all my life and I've never noticed this place." I said.
"Yeah, I checked it out and I know you like small,non-crowded, quiet, cute places. It wasn't hard to find, usually I drive right by here."
We entered the restaurant together, and a rush of happiness swept through me. He'd waited for me after school so he could bring me on a date, and he even really took the place we were going to into serious consideration. Well, I'm not sure about the first part, we're just friends, but in my head it's a date.
He told me to wait by the front door while he got someone to find our table. After a few minutes he came back with a gorgeous blonde, and she was blushing like crazy. I also noticed while we were walking towards our table that his hand was resting on the small of her back. I just ignored it, we were friends.
"This is nice." I said as we sat down at a dimly lit table near the back of the restaurant.
"Only the best for my angel!" I blushed and he grabbed my hand. I looked up to see his beautiful orbs already staring at me. "I have something to tell you." he said seriously.
"Go for it," I said nodding my head furiously.
"We've, um, been friends for a while. Yeah. Okay. I think we should take it to the next step, maybe? If you want to? I mean I think you're absolutely beautiful and I can't resist your-"
"We should take it to the next step?" I repeated his words more to myself, accidentally interrupting him. He nodded his head, and I jumped up to hug him. He stood up as well, resting his head in the crook of my neck. His hands were pretty low on my back but I ignored it. I moved my head to rest on his chest and I looked up at him to see him looking towards the other end of the restaurant nervously.
"Maybe we should get out of here." he said sounding distracted.
"We haven't even ordered anything yet." I sounded confused, but in all honesty I wanted to leave too. I wanted to take him home and cuddle and do all the cute stuff I see couples do all the time that I've never gotten to do.
"We can order take out at your place." I just nodded my head and held his hand while walking out of the restaurant. While we were walking out I once again noticed the same blonde, her eyes following us and she looked a little upset.
~
I just want to go absolutely crazy right now. I'm done with high school! Seriously done! It seemed like it would never end. No going back next year, I'm free!
"So what should we do first?" he asked me.
Did I mention how perfect my life has been since that day at the restaurant? Well it's hard to explain how happy I've been. We haven't really done any major couple stuff but it's nice to have him around all the time. We still act like friends, besides the things we do that only married couples should do. But then I remember the restaurant day and think its the thought that counts.
And now that I say this, it sounds extremely wrong, and it was all proven to me on the very last day of school.
"You should take me to Urban Outfitters!"
Urban Outfitters was in walking distance of my school, and as soon as we got there nothing would stop me from getting whatever I wanted.
"How does this look on me?" I ask stepping out of the dressing room, only to realize that I was talking to myself. Where did he go? I changed back into my clothes and stepped out of the fitting rooms to be greeted by the sight of him all over a brunette, a tall, skinny, gorgeous brunette.
Without thinking, I dropped the clothes and marched over to him pulling him away from the distraught girl.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?!"
"Well I was trying to get her number but, oh look, she's leaving the store. Look what you've done!" he said to me. I was completely appalled. Is this normal in relationships? No, absolutely not.
"Why- why are you doing this?" I asked on the verge of tears.
His face softened a bit before he asked, "Why are you about to cry?"
"We're supposed to be together but you were just all over that gi-"
"Together?" he said confused. "Where did you get the thought that we were together?"
"At the restaurant." I replied, tears now running down my face. "At the restaurant you said you wanted to take it to the next step and that I was beautiful and-"
"No,no. I'm sorry but you have the wrong idea. I said you were beautiful and I tried to tell you I couldn't resist your body anymore so we needed to take it to the next step. You interrupted me though. I'm really sorry."
He didn't even look sincere. But it had all made sense to me now. Nothing was different but the fact that we were sleeping together. I don't understand why he would make it sound so much like he was asking me out. I've loved him all this time to find out he was just my friend for my body. Maybe he was anticipating this all along. Maybe he just wanted to get on my good side before he popped the "big question."
"You're such a dick." I growled through gritted teeth before walking through the door. I even saw the brunette girl standing outside waiting for him. I kind of felt bad for her, he wasn't even going to look at her anymore.
I walked halfway down the street once I finally decided I shouldn't worry about this on my last day of school. I will just leave this problem to cry about tomorrow. I turned around to go purchase the clothes I dropped and apologize to the employees for making such a scene. But the sight I saw was one that could make me kill him right then and there. He was full on making out with the girl, myself and everything that just happened long forgotten.
