Years and Years is great; they deserved that Sound Of win. King (link) is so lush. Imagine Zayn or Liam putting out an album that sounded like their Soundcloud.

I’m hoping all of those unreleased writing collabs Harry and Lilo have done will be on the fifth album. Logistically I don’t think a single feat 1D or 1D feat someone would happen, but I would love to see 1D with different openers on different legs. If the rumour about their OTRA opener is true, this will be my fourth time skipping the opener in a row :( As it stands now I’m only going to get the openers I want once 1D manages to age up its demographic or some British faux-indie band’s US team gets desperate enough.

I don’t know if you want my opinion on individual collabs as well? Liam has been doing some very solid remixes and we already had that Cheryl song. I think he needs to experiment more musically but I’m hoping for some future pop smash collabs there.

Also, I think Zayn and Naughty Boy collab is imminent. They’ve been in the studio a lot, so there's likely more than one song coming. 1D has a lot obligations that preclude Zayn from releasing this solo and NB’s overdue for a new album so there might be a lead single feature? It could also be for someone else; NB’s main collaborator Emeli Sandé is also overdue for an album.

Since the superinjunction theory is going around again and I’m attached to part of that post, I want to discuss the possibility there isn't a superinjunction.

After the superinjunctions controversies in 2011, discussion of superinjunctions by media outlets made it clear there were still outstanding superinjunctions but also that the journalism establishment held them in contempt.

If there was a superinjunction out, Jenn Selby would have reacted much differently on Twitter than she did. She wouldn't have tweeted "I'm sorry you found our article in anyway insulting". Yahoo Celebrity UK would not have risked publishing any mention of Larry Stylinson, even those obviously marked as speculation, as they would not risk the possible legal repercussions. Meanwhile, Private Eye would have already cheerfully insinuated its existence, legal action be damned.

Hey! I made the UNSIGNED post last night XD I made a correction about Conor Maynard on the original post minutes after but it was already reblogged and there was nothing I could do about that. As for the bands not being still unsigned, I totally agree and knew that at the time. The point was to look for any links and I found one possible one in the Unleashed & Unsigned blog. I guess the post isn't as clear as I thought since this has come up multiple times. Whoops.

Ah yeah, that’s what I figured since you did look up # of albums. I was trying to make a counterargument for “it’s a coincidence” just because of the number of other follows interspersed and how famous those bands are. (I’m also laughing at Bombay Bicycle Club and Mystery Jets in particular. Louis has owned a Mystery Jets jumper for how long and only followed them now?)

something that occurred to me: if @louis_’s homophobic statement is retracted in between nov 17 and nov 23, it will be too late for diehard homophobic fans who preordered to cancel, and anyone who supports lgbtq-positive direction would buy the album before the end of what counts for first week sales, so in sum it would have no effect on chart position and sony gets sales from both camps
