@1ddenisels let me start my story off by saying I swear I'm not a liar and this is a true story. Now it sounds even more of a fake story by having a disclaimer. Anywho. It was March of 2013, around this week actually, my friend and his boyfriend threw a massive birthday party for themselves at a fancy hotel in the heart of Manhattan. I got to the hotel and saw a few girls standing outside, I thought nothing of it because it's New York people mill about all the time. Around three o'clock in the morning I went downstairs to have a cigarette and get some fresh air and the same girls were still outside, mind you I arrived at the hotel at nine that night. They kept staring at me and whispering so I got curious and suspicious. I asked them if they had a problem or needed something for me. They asked me if I was with them. With who? I asked. They said One Direction. I'll admit at that time I was weeks away from my 26 birthday so I was "too cool" to like 1D. I told them I wasn't and they were completely relieved and bummed at the same time. The next day as I was leaving, I found out that 1D were staying on the floor above where I was partying. And that's my outrageous and unbelievable story of how I almost met 1D before I was a fan.

@1ddenisels I knew who they were back then, sort of. I basically only knew about Zayn because he was just out of this world beautiful. I kinda knew about Harry as well because he was "dating" Taylor Swift. It's just funny to think that a year and a half later I started to become a fan.
