My ONE OR EIGHT X RIDGE RACER stuff!! I loved Tokyo Drift and Kawasaki and the motorsport vibes made me think of my fave racing game with a banging soundtrack, R4. Each design for them have references or custom design ideas. Explanations Below the Cut!

Mizuki: In a mix of Gon and Killua's outfits alongside Killua's number from the hunter exam!

Reia: A sweet version of a Gothic Ouji outfit.

Yuga: A mix of the racing outfit in R4 and a custom Japan design on the back, inspired by astronaut outfits. There are 8 red dots in the center!

Takeru: Inspired by Chocobo designs and a street outfit in FFXIV as well as his member emoji. A call to his dancing!

Tsubasa: Given the bleach captain outfit alongside his personal color mixed with VKei aesthetics. He mentioned loving harajuku fashion and his hair and makeup often gives me vkei vibes.

Souma: I was inspired by his Kawasaki outfit but modified it to street racing. I love his blue hair color and style. Seeing as I had two primary colors I decided his white jacket would have primary yellow and secondary colors. He also has a Tokyo city sign patch on the jacket as well!

Ryota: Seeing as he's known for his build.. would love to see his tattoos clearly one day, I decided to give him Dante's Jacket and aesthetic from DMC in reversed colors. Since his member color is black I wanted to balance black and white with purple and red. His pants are layered leather and denim, a reference to his personal layered style. He also has Zoro's earrings since he mentioned he looked up to him.

Neo: Neo's sense of style seems laid back so I gave him a outfit style I grew up around. He's wearing a baseball jersey in his member color. His hat is a subtle reference to PaRappa the Rapper! Thinking about making a Tokyo Drift Remix with a song from R4! In other news.. I Went to their concert and decided to officially dust off my fanartist hat LMAO

The meaning behind the fandom name “1DERZ” represents the idea of ONE OR EIGHT and their fans coming together, embracing bold risks to inspire and create a future beyond anything ever imagined. It conveys the group’s message that there are no limits when they are together with their fans.
