The Grandfather Tree Concept Sketch
The grandfather tree is what Kyle imagines to be the oldest tree in the forest. In the tree is a huge Grotto in which the central fire is kept burning all the time, and where the Drow meet in the evenings. Due to artist error, I made the background trees taller than the Grandfather tree. In reality, the branches of the Grandfather tree should stretch up far beyond them. In truth, I’m just really bad at drawing trees.
