12. talk about the worst dream you’ve ever had.

i had this dream that i was drowning in the ocean. i just remember looking around desperately for any sight of land or a boat or anything, but it was pitch black and there was a storm raging and then the water swept me under and yeah :(

16. talk about the best party you’ve ever been to.

i don’t know if this really counts as a party, but on the night of our last marching band competition, we all went to waffle house and piled into the booths by the window, and everyone was just so happy and so proud and no one could stop smiling because we had won every single award that it was possible for our band to win. i felt breathless; i felt on top of the world.

24. talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.

i’ve been staring at this question for so long and i legit cannot possibly choose one thing someone has told me. i’ve been so lucky to have had so many of my closest friends confide in me with things they wouldn’t normally be comfortable talking about, and i’m grateful for each and every one of them. sorry for such a generic answer, but i honestly can’t choose (in pain/crying emoji)

32. talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

the first place that came to mind was this tiny coffee shop called redhook that was tucked into my neighborhood, two streets away from my house. it was kind of like everyone’s best kept secret. redhook made the best hot chocolate and the best chicken paninis with mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes ever. i just remember sitting in there on so many quiet afternoons, curled up in an armchair by the window, working my homework, and sipping on a hot chocolate. it was like a little slice of paradise.
