After paying double the plane ticket to get back to the US on time for #globaleclipsegathering in Oregon, and experiencing heavy duty jet lag, hearing about the real rough conditions on site out there, I was sooo on the fence whether to actually go... Yet I did dig through my storage unit, ran errands for two days and packed my car so I can be ready if I did decide to go... and I did. Took off. Drove 10+ hours with getting lost and all... it's Mt. Shasta that tricked me so I can be soaking in her magick for an extra half an hour. Arrived 11 pm and waited in line till I finally made it to 1nations camp at 5:30 am last wednesday... the grumpies were real at that point, after 24 hours of no sleep... shortly lived though... you would be surprised of the magic 15 grams of protein does in your body in such occasions. Set up camp, got fed and embraced by the team, had a day to chill and recover before the awesome madness begins officially. I could confidently say this was the best 10 day journey ever. With all the driving, waiting in line, dust, black buggers and cold nights it was way more than worth it. The magick was epic. I am sooo grateful to have been a part of @Living_Village_Culture team at the Shrines to the Cosmos as stage manager and be able to assist wisdom keepers and elders from many traditions share their knowledge throughout the week. Water blessings, liquid tobacco ceremonies, peyote honorings, fire despachos.... So much sacred juicy goodness shared around that fire. Art, dance, music, tea, nourishing conversations, new friendships, heart medicine and of course the total solar eclipse in its full glory. Once in a lifetime never to be forgotten, 30k+ people uniting, prophecies fullfulled. #cultureasaverb #1nations #shrinestothecosmos #maimamariapantera
