You know what's great about being in multiple WW2 fandoms if you like crossovers: the shows and films happen in the same universe, and happen round about similar times, and there is always a small chance paths actually crossed between groups depicted in said shows or film.
That being said, I'm so down for Band of Brothers meets SAS Rogue Heroes. Now I know the 1 SAS were part of Operation Market Garden as well, although they had a different objective

Daddy Jim
Bill Stirling: It must be so hard for you to be a single mother these days. Jim Almonds *jokingly*: Yeah, especially since I'm a 50 year old man and I don't have any children. Jim Almonds: Wait! Paddy you can't just hit someone with a chair! Put that down! Jim Almonds: Dave, Jock, Pat, stop encouraging him, you guys are drunk. Jim Almonds: Reg please stop crying baby I know it's been hard. Jim Almonds: Johnny put that gun down. Fraser, why on earth would you give him a gun?! Bill Fraser *shrugs*: It looked fun. Jim Almonds: You're grounded young man. Jim Almonds: John Tonkin, you better stop screaming, nobody is going to shoot you.
Jim Almonds *turns back to Bill Stirling*: So, how's your son doing? Bill Stirling *looks at Anthony Greville-Bell, who's happily coloring in the sun*: He's great, thanks for asking. Jim Almonds *cringes as something explodes in the background*: That's great, he's such a well-behaved lad.
I want to know where men like Paddy Mayne are. And men like Jock McDiarmid. And men like Johnny Cooper. And men like Pat Riley. And men like Reg Seekings. And men like Bill Fraser. And men like Dave Kershaw. And men like Mike Sadler. And men like Jim Almonds. And men like John Tonkin. And men like Augustin Jordan. And men like Andre Zirnheld. And men like Anthony Greville-Bell.
Where are men like that
So this scene is from season 2 episode 3 where Paddy tells Jock to wait for his order to run at this machine gun thingy.
Look at how tight Bill's grip on his shoulder is.
Bill is pretty much the only one who can reign in the Scottish madman and I love that
