Hehe little accident at the pets house... making supper and the people had a towel on he stove where they put dishes to dry. For some reason. I thought the towel was far enough away from the burner I turned on... then I hear this strange popping noise. I pick up the pot and part of thr towel is trapped under the pot! Smoking already. I throw it on the floor and there are little embers in it. Eek! Cinders on the floor. Could put the whole place on fire. I stomp on it, put it in the sink then throw it out the door into thr cold which will hopefully suppress any lingering embers. Smelled like smoke.
So. If there is fabric on the stove. Take it off before you start cooking anything, even if its not the burner you turned on. I did only get 4 hours sleep last night so I'm not exactly thinking the greatest.... I thought I was doing ok except almost falling asleep when I closed my eyes for a second this afternoon. But that's the problem, if your tired u sometimes don't have the mind to gauge how tired you are...
