When the 1st shift operator starts a program without checking anything, then walks away

I wonder what would be a better shift to work, 1st or 2nd? I’m getting hired by Mitsubishi Power Plant soon in the future as a manufacturer and they’re going to pay me way more than my current job. At my old job at Fedex I worked part-time but would stay 8 hours a day from about 4PM-12. But I always wanted to continue with my MMA training and the place typically starts classes at eight at night but I usually would go for all classes, Jui Jitsu which starts at 6PM and the like and stay until the end at 9PM.

1st shift is 7AM-3PM ; 2nd shift is 4PM-12PM, plus with the summer coming up do I really want to be stuck at work all afternoon and night? The only con of not working nights would be I would have to get up in the morning again five days a week, I would get paid $1 less, and for some reason morning work always gives me a bad feeling. Like everyone is “wired” so to speak. Plus I would have to, naturally, change my classes from morning to afternoon / evening ones.

I wonder if it would be worth it?
