Weise has a 1 way contract, meaning he would have to be put on waivers to be sent down to Chicago (allowing him to be picked by another team), whereas Duco has a two way deal, meaning he can be sent back and forth from Chicago without waivers. Also since Weise was picked off waivers by Vancouver, per the CBA, he has to stay on the main roster for the rest of the season. Duco's demotion is based on cap management, not merit.
I know; that's exactly what I've been saying and complaining about. :)
Though, I don't think I remembered the CBA bit in my bitching.
What the hell Amanda, you know that stopping a laser of that intensity in the vacuum of space is theoretically and humanly impossible.
