November 20th is the Birthday of two of the most influential and important people in my life. My Grandma, Jackie Jones (RIP) who’d be in rare form at this time of year would whipping up more pies (sweet potato) than King Push all while playing 49 bingo cards simultaneously, anwsing ever question on Jeopardy and giving the greatest life advice using quotes from Carter G Woodson. We all miss you, Jones. The other person is my Grandma’s baby boy. I never had to look up to Rappers, Athletes or Hustlers be role models because I had my uncle Corey, my mother’s youngest brother and my first tag team partner, the first person to play me Hip-Hop, The 1st one I saw put Tissue in The Tape, The 1st I saw clean his kicks with a toothbrush and hang hoop posters like Picasso’s baby.
