Got to meet and converse with @Snowden w/ 20 others last night in #AMA. He answered every question given. It was an amazing experience thanks to @thebatterysf #1stselfiewithafugitive He expressed a desire to come home. He made insights into the care he gave to the info released as ‘useful to expose but safe and has caused no harm’. He reviewed it with journalists before release to be sure it would not be harmful to anyone but government. He also exposed that over 2/3 of Americans had their SSN’s and other info disclosed to the masses with @equifax hack and that is the real problem. That was ONE hack. So anyone thinking they have privacy should think again. He also shared that tech companies need to be liable for damages from negligence just as other companies do. Insightful. He also shared that he wears the same glasses he broke while finding safe harbor because it reminds him. He also exposed why he is in Russia and how the government made it the only place he could go. It was truly fascinating! (at Curran)
