#1weekpostpartum: My belly is softer than it ever has been. The incision is healing well, and if it weren’t for the cold I picked up at the hospital (complete with horrendous cough), I’d barely be bothered by it at all. I know a c-section is major abdominal surgery, but healing from a routine section is just *not* comparable to nine months of pain and misery. Ultimately, it’s been pretty okay. I’m trying not to overdo it by moving around too much, but I’m excited to Do Stuff—especially with Gussy—once I’m all healed up.
