So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.

Social Media - Prompt 1

Social Media is actually a vital "tool" for most people in this and the coming centuries. They are a way to communicate and entertain ourselves and others. I think using Tumblr as a school project is a creative idea since most teenagers relate to social media more than posters, drawings, and such. Though it's a great idea and very essential for many of us, teenage students, it's still not the "perfect" of ideas. Since it's not a flawless idea, there are positives and negatives to it.

 The positive idea was already mentioned. Students these days could relate more to social media because it's what teens use and rely on for communicating and entertainment. As for the negative, not all student like to be "goodies-two-shoes" and go by the rules. There are rules and regulations to ensure that the student would use, specifically “Tumblr” since we're using it for our project, in a satisfying way for the student, teacher, and administration. So long we're not contradicting the rules we're all on the safe zone. The school can never be too sure that all the students will abide by the rules and that's what's negative. It's how they'll use it that matters and for what. An Arabic saying states that anything, in this case social media, is "a double-edged sword."

Okay,the first thing I noticed was the book’s front cover, it had a picture of a dog drawn upside down, now first I thought that the book itself was upside down but nope it turned out that the dog was. Which was weird and creepy. Second thing was the chapter numbers, seriously a book starts with chapter number 2, where did 1 fly to? Picture it like this, you wake up one morning and you find out that you were sleeping on a cloud.Creepy. But as I continued reading I realised that Christopher liked prime numbers that's why all the chapter numbers were prime. Last thing I find different in this book from other books is that Christopher is so ironic, he said that this book won't be a funny one, but it's really the opposite, one heck of a funny book I’ve ever read, seriously. The reason for these differences is because the main character has Asperger's syndrome, so the author wrote this book in a different way to show the readers that those who have Asperger's syndrome think and act differently than normal people.

PROMPT#1 HMM!! SOCIAL MEDIA. WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT IT? Everything has its pros and cons. Now social media is useful in many ways, it provides communication to other people, sometimes people talk about their lives, so, you can take that person’s life as an example and learn from it. Social media turns your frown upside down, entertains you when you’re bored. Also did you know that social media is popular at advertising products which leads to a successful business. However, we get to the cons, which in my opinion is that ito is addictive. Addiction less to wasting of time, and time management is what orders our lives. You see how social media affects our lives. In addition to that, people take social media as a chance to cyber bully others. This is how I act to social media, I befriend it for a while and then I become its enemy. In order to keep up with my life and social media. OH MY! Tumbler as a school project. Unbelievable! Who would have thought that one day just one day, social media will be used as an educational thing in school. It is an experience using tumblr  for the first time. Secondly this a different kind of project because you get to read other students’ in order to have an idea of how yours should look like. However, I feel that it's opening a way of criticism and judgment between students.
