I like to think that fearless, red and evermore are the same person in different life fases. Stay with me now, fearless is about a girl who's young and hopeful and exited for her life, she thinks the worst that can happen is a bad breakup or fighting with her friends, and you can get through anything if you try hard enough. Evermore is about a woman who's older (not old) and whose her life has been pretty much entirely made out of rough patches, but now is finally getting her happy ending that she dreamed of since she was a little girl. She is fearless if all the happiness and hope had been stripped out of her, and then when it was finally given back, and now she walks on egg shells just to make sure it won't go away again. like with gold rush and superstar, there almost the same, but gold rush has the 'I've gotta be careful with this' mindset instead of a fun somewhat careless one, from superstar. Cowboy like me and love story, the first having a more careful grown up point of view other than the careless teenage-like one, showing that same person, but still changed from growing up. And there was where my theory ended, UNTIL, I listened to Red tv, more specifically nothing new, more specifically the line "how can a person know everything at 18, but nothing at 22", and that's when it clicked, the hurt, rough patches and growth that evermore's been through was red! But at the same time that high spirited energy, from fearless, ex: atw, better man, I almost do, ikywt, but also starlight, 22, begin again etc. So yeah that's mah theory, I've been thinking about this for a long time so I hope it's not a random mess, or a completely senseless rant. :)
