2 Peas // Mason + Rose

“Thanks, come again!” Rose mustered her best fake smile for the 100th time today. She handed the customer her bag o’ books with almost no care. After the lady walked out with a haste, Rose huffed blowing her bangs out of her face. She looked up from the register out of the sales floor.  It was only 4 hours into her 6 hours and she was already seeing the book aisles sway.

Rose pulled the walkie mic to her lips, “I’m leaving the registers, I have to talk Todd.” 

“The children books needs tidying again.” Todd the Manager chimed back. Rose’s eyes rolled to the back of her head. This day was never going to end.
