Today is the day we all thought we would remember as the day Alexander  Ovechkin reached 700 goals. 

Instead, it’ll be remembered as the day the Carolina Hurricanes demolished the Toronto Maple Leafs with a 42-year-old, zamboni driver emergency goalie in net. 

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOCKEY!

spoil me rotten,

i’m depraved and deprived of what i crave the most.

lost, walking through strange streets,

chatting up strange men

who want nothing more than to know me inside out.

half of me doesn’t care, the other half cares too much.

i’m a living contradiction,

mayhem personified,

trying my best to protect the most vulnerable parts of myself,

but at the same time barring those bits for everyone to see.

a sheep in wolves clothing,

shy to a degree, but too bold to hide it.

nothing good can come from someone like me.

but i’m too vain to admit it.
