Say hello to one of the coolest toys of the late 1970s. 2-XL was essentially an 8-track tape player that cleverly used decision tree programming so that the machine could ask questions and the user could respond by pressing the appropriate track buttons.

The voice and appearance of the educational toy were designed to give it a “personality”.
