2. The Note
Whaaaaaaaaat a way to break-up with someone, right? I won’t lie, I borrowed from this- but it fit Percy, and it fit this scene. Percy didn’t have to tell Violet about the baby, but he did. The reason? Well, time will tell.
The contents of the note “Ros is pregnant”- talk about jarring and heartbreaking. Violet knew of Ros, but had thought Ros was out of the picture....
After Snowball, Violet and Percy were together- officially dating. Percy though, hadn’t completely broken things off with Ros.. and well, Ros’ eggo def got preggo.
I know I’ve seen some comments suggesting that Percy ain’t the dad ( @jodeebradley14- lookin’ at you 😹), but Ros and Percy both believe they are gonna be parents. They do look like they’re back to being an item?
As for timeline, I will confirm that Percy wasn’t that much of a jerk. He didn’t know when he came to camp- if anything, he knew here. Hence, why he was distant with Violet on their last night together. Which on one hand, good job Percy for not being such a trashfire, but also- you still a trashfire because you could have A. Told Violet the truth, and B. Not have slept with Ros to begin with?
What does all this mean? They are all so messy and complicated. They all don’t make the best choices, and the ripple of this whole thing- it’s gonna leave some scars.
