So Many Wonderful Campers~

This whole project wouldn’t have been able to be a thing if it wasn’t for the the berry sim community! Ya’ll sent me so many sims, and I loved having them in my game!

I know some of ya’lls sims didn’t get front and center time- but I am still thankful and so appreciative that you sent them my way for this story.

1. The Punch & the Cover-Up

Who saw that coming? Jk- you may have. But yeah, Clover- Mr. Future police man goin’ for the swing. For Clover, he had really just had enough of Wyatt and what Wyatt had been saying about Ginger. At his core, Clover is a good guy (hence why he’ll be a cop who owns a pizza shop 🍕) but this was a moment where he lost control... embraced his inner “bear”- which isn’t always the best thing. 

For Sauce, it was Clover’s break through moment of finally doing something of embracing his inner id and going for something- even if it was a punch. Sauce saw Clover “be the bear” and it was enough for Sauce to take the blame. And seeing as how Sauce already had that bad boy aesthetic ™  - it wasn’t that unbelievable that he’d be the one to punch Wyatt.

In taking the blame, Sauce really gave Clover the chance to go after Violet- something that Sauce saw Clover struggle with all of camp. So really, Sauce is the reason camp ended the way it did. Otherwise, Clover would have went home and then who knows what would have happened?

On the flip side, Sauce ditching Maddy and everything that they had worked towards during camp... not so good. Pretty sure that will linger for a bit, but you’ll have to check out that story more over at @socialbunnies.

At long last~ Camp has ended!

I started thinking about having a summer camp back in August, and I officially started playing/posting around the beginning of February. This has been a wild ride. I honestly think I put pushed the limits of my game to the max, but it turned out almost exactly like I had it in my head- even if it took a while to get there.

Since the ride is over for now- I’ve put together a handful of posts reflecting on my time at camp, the help that I’ve received from so many people, and some goodies for ya’ll~

Because while you can leave camp, camp will never leave you.

2. The Note

Whaaaaaaaaat a way to break-up with someone, right? I won’t lie, I borrowed from this- but it fit Percy, and it fit this scene. Percy didn’t have to tell Violet about the baby, but he did. The reason? Well, time will tell.

The contents of the note “Ros is pregnant”- talk about jarring and heartbreaking. Violet knew of Ros, but had thought Ros was out of the picture.... 

After Snowball, Violet and Percy were together- officially dating. Percy though, hadn’t completely broken things off with Ros.. and well, Ros’ eggo def got preggo. 

I know I’ve seen some comments suggesting that Percy ain’t the dad ( @jodeebradley14- lookin’ at you 😹), but Ros and Percy both believe they are gonna be parents. They do look like they’re back to being an item? 

As for timeline, I will confirm that Percy wasn’t that much of a jerk. He didn’t know when he came to camp- if anything, he knew here. Hence, why he was distant with Violet on their last night together. Which on one hand, good job Percy for not being such a trashfire, but also- you still a trashfire because you could have A. Told Violet the truth, and B. Not have slept with Ros to begin with?

What does all this mean? They are all so messy and complicated. They all don’t make the best choices, and the ripple of this whole thing- it’s gonna leave some scars.

Some Numbers

How big was camp? Well.. I looked a the numbers and the the entirety of what I tagged #Camp Gnomewhere ended up being....

425 posts... Generation 1 was 636 posts. Alone, this camp bit was already 2/3′s the size of my first generation.

Prior to camp, Gen 2 was around 247 posts. Now that camp is done, Gen 2 is sitting at 672 posts.... 

What this means? Gen. 2 is gonna be a lot longer than I thought 😹

Ya’ll were wild, and I lived for it- every single comment and ask made this whole experience even better! I’ve been struggling to figure out a way to do a reply post, because there really were so many reactions! So, I’m gonna touch on some of the highlights.

Thank you all for coming along with me on this journey- it has been  a ride. Hope to see you when I pick this thing back up! 💜

The first part of Violet’s story has sure been a doozy! And like I’ve said before- we still got a ways to go. So, what’s next for this crew of folks?

Well, after a little break- Violet’s story will be resuming 1 year post Camp Gnomewhere as she prepares for her time at college. I’ve seen some speculation about her roommate- and I will spill the beans on that...

Violet will be living with....... CLOVER. Yep, so those two are gonna have to figure things out, or maybe they won’t? You’ll have to wait and see for that one.

As for other characters, more will be introduced! Including a new peach sim named Cherie. 

I’m going to be working to update/renovate my Meet the Family page- so be on the look-out for a post when that’s completed. Some folks may be leaving the page pretty soon... if they aren’t gone already. 👀

Camp may be done, but this was really a time for them to develop as late teens/young adults, and the experiences they had (both the good and the bad) will play a lasting role in the who they become.
