I remember all those weird social media I used that felt so alive circa 2010.

Devianart - art website, but even non artists used it. Anyone remember how it was a whole trend to customize your profile and put 100 stamps with your opinions on it?

MyAnimeList (MAL) - used for making a list of your watched anime and read manga. And again it was used for socializing and it felt like there was thousands of people using it. Like people would code amazingly pretty list themes or you would join clubs for your favorite anime/character/pairing . And then there was contests of winning some graphics or stamps or something. Again it just felt like people put in such an effort into random stuff

Fanpop - again a website to discuss media and anything and everything. And you would join clubs for your favourite thing and there was polls and articles. And again it felt so full and you would always have someone commenting or texting something on a post you made or on a comment or page you made. And there was huge fandom wars like I remember Legend of Korra club was just people loving or hating poor Korra and writing paragraphs of stuff about her.

Club Penguin - This is the only website on the internet that I ever BEGGER my mother to pay for a premium subscription or account or whatever. We never ever to this day payed for anything online premium, like I have not had Spotify premium, I have never payed for a payed app, I have never payed for a wild rift skin, I have never payed to speed up content or a premium subscription in any of those EA video games or whatever where you pay for extra points or to speed up gaming, I only payed for video games and for TV, but I got club penguin premium. And it was so cute and you just played mini games and ran around. You didn’t really talk much people were just like hi whats up bye.
