This gives me so many feels okay...

...so I’m going to just say: the way he slows down as he approaches her!! The way she wants to approach him but flinches at the last minute - not because of anything he did but because of her own feelings?? The way she goes to Cassandra for safety @demandra!! The way he immediately backs off, looking a bit sad, and how he just misses the way she turns and half follows him??! And that maybe it’s because he’s the kind of guy who backs off when she gets scared that she wanted him back? 😭

And then by the end she feels not only safe in his arms but confident and sensual and loved. 😭💛🤍😭

Curtain call: Victoria wakes Plato up, he boops her on both ears, slings her over one shoulder and carries her off, while she pats his butt in time with the music.

Tumblebrutus and Electra come onstage for Act II and immediately get into a cuddle-fight - much to Plato’s distress. He is an earnest young protector and can’t let anything happen to them!

(Meanwhile, Skimbleshanks is just out of shot, looking sternly around to make sure everything’s safe and not giving the wrestling kittens a second glance.)

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer turn up and have a cuddle-fight until Plato points out to them that we’re trying to be Solemn and Dignified here, while Tugger keeps Electra entertained from the top of the oven.

German tent tour, June 2011: Jason Leigh Winter’s last bow sequence as Plato before leaving the tour, lifting Anique Bosch as Victoria.

The eagle-eyed might spot Mark John Richardson as Mistoffelees. The Munkustrap mouth that flashes by in front of the camera probably belongs to Gido Schimanski, but I confess I have not made a study of his dental work.

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer find their loot bags again during the finale - much to Electra’s disapproval. Mungojerrie discovers that he can even dive through Electra’s legs! The Rum Tum Tugger experiments with baking.
