As many know, I have a stockpile of 2011 Topps Update boxes, and I am always looking for more. Recently I came across a box on @stockxtradingcards and bought it immediately. The next day Trout prices jumped from $3k to $6k and I thought I would never get the box. Surprisingly the box was shipped to StockX from the seller. Unfortunately upon arrival StockX informed me the box had a tear and asked me how to proceed. I looked over the box and discussed it with some industry experts and we agreed, it looks like the tear was self inflicted and that the box had likely been previously opened. Just a reminder to everyone out there to always be weary about buying sealed boxes. The best boxes are those wrapped by @bbcexchange, @opc_baseball_cards or RVP (they don't have an Instagram page).
