I will marry Tteokbokki!!!
It's always looked like my favorite korean dish, since the first time i saw Hyun Joong cooking it, and today i got evidence of that.
I didn't want to finish it. I didn't want to finish any of the stuff i ate.
Which wasn't much, tbh. Because the restaurant was hella expensive. oO But everything was delicious. And they had metal chopsticks and the long spoon i always see in dramas and a korean glass. Which is lighter than i thought.
And while we were ordering, Ugly played. And i pointed at the ceiling like :O And then came SuJu, SHINee (twice), SNSD, Sistar. I thought of Saengie when i heard My Boy. And there was a poster on the door, saying 'Kpop Night' but it was last night so we missed it.
Ah and i had to explain my friend how to eat rice with side dishes. And i also told him if someone puts something on your rice for you to eat it, that's a sign of care. But i was explaining while putting food on my rice. Not his. And he went 'So everybody hates me?' XD
I have no idea when i'll have money to eat korean again, therefore i'm gonna cry myself to sleep because it was awesome and tasty and spicy but not too much and generally perfect.
Then. The exhibit.
We had to wait outside for a while because apparently the entrance wasn't free. And the guy before us annoyed me for no reason. Idk, the things he said. I don't care about them. It was something about going back to south Italy or staying in Milan but the way he talked annoyed me. oO Weird.
The exhibit was basically a collection of sketches from all the most important Pixar movies. Nothing impressive but i looked at them all and i loved them. It was a weird feeling to be standing in front of the drafts of characters i came to love through a movie which came out probably years after that drawing was made. *.*
And i saw a model of Wall-E. And Mater from Cars. And a bunch of other dudes but these two are the most relevant.
And what kind of markers do you use, guys? Seriously, it looked like watercolor painting. And pastels looked like chalk.
But the coolest thing was the zoetrope. If you don't know what it is (because i didn't) it's a...thing...with (if i'm not wrong) 18 "frames" inside. The base turns and a sort of strobe light turns on, so that the combination of the two things gives you the illusion each frame is moving. Like, on its own. For example the frames show you someone jumping and your eyes see 18 dudes jumping. The strobe light is necessary because it locks the image. Like when you go to a club and you watch people dancing and it seems like they're robots...? Ever experienced that? Well, that.
Anyway, you probably didn't get it. But it basically works the way a cartoon works. The difference is the zoetrope they had didn't have frames, but models of Toy Story characters. Jessie waving her lasso, the aliens jumping in a hole, Buzz walking on a ball. So it was cool.
Btw, the original sketch of Buzz was hideous. He looked - my friend and i agreed - a halfwit.
That's all. This was my day. I couldn't take many pics because it was forbidden. I only took like 4. I will post them in a while, just because i have them.
And the snow...well, Milan didn't see it at all. And it's not pretty anymore around my house except maybe outside my balcony. I'll see what i can do. Otherwise i'll ask daddy to take us to the mountains next weekend. I wanna go to the mountains since the day i almost died in my friend's car and they got too scared to go ice-skating ever again.
Perché non posso essere bella?
Mi va di aggiornare. Molto random. Mi sento tipo stupida e a disagio, però non so perché.
