Often times, you don’t fall in love with a person. You fall in love with something else.
After so many years observing people (and myself!) in the complicated game of love, I can say this: often times, you don’t fall in love with a person. You fall in love with something else.
Most often, people fall in love with their own imagination of the perfect man/woman. You meet somebody, you barely know him/her, and then you start imposing your own ideals of a soulmate onto the person. Problem begins when the illusion starts to shatter, and you start to see ‘the real him/her’. And tragically, you accuse the person of ‘having changed’ – although it was your own eyes which finally opened.
Often times, people fall in love not with a person, but a “way out”. You are feeling lonely, you just don’t want to be alone and miserable, and you see this person as a ‘solution’. Then, you are falling in love with the solution to your problem, not with a person.
Some people fall in love with “agenda”. You have made plans for your life: when to find a partner, when to get married, when to have children, etc. And then you see this person as the fulfilment of your life’s “Outlook calendar”. Again, you are falling in love with your life schedule, not with a person.
Some others fall in love with “therapy”. You were broken inside, you have mental scars, you have childhood trauma. And then you find this person whom you think can cure you. Then, you are falling in love with the therapy for your own soul illness, not with a person.
And few lucky ones, find that one person, see his/her true soul, and fall in love. Few lucky ones, fall in love, with a person.
Kim Jae Joong (ex Tohoshinki member) from JYJ mentioned Shinhwa in an interview: Comparing to keeping things to yourself, honestly talking about it is the key to teamwork. Kim Jae Joong used Shinhwa who kept the team together these 14 years with loyalty as an example. Kim Jae Joong mentioned "Not long ago, Eric hyung (leader of shinhwa) posted Shinhwa members group photo on an app. I replied him "Its good to see hyungs like this. Shinhwa is really cool." To which he replied "We are just pretending to be close." To be able to say such things without hesitation, I think its amazing."
When i read this today, the person came to my mind immediately, no doubt our mischievous leader Nakai and SMAP.. ^^ Our yasashii leader, Nakai ^^ What is Eric said, its totally what usually Nakai would say LOL XDD ^^ Well and i really think same like Jaejoong, for them to be able to say things like that about their group is AMAZING.. ^^ It shows clearly their amazing bond!
I got great GIFT!
I feel like i really get a GIFT from SMAP. Thankyou SMAP for this GREAT album.. ^^ Its not just great, but its very SMAP-ish song too.. Its in my repeat list right now.
Hmm after keep repeating this album, i finally find my fav song:
My most fav song is Maeni, i just love it evry single part of this song from intro until the end. The aransement is beautiful. So maeni will top my favourite. Maeni gives me Susume and Hajimari No uta feel ^^ the gold hidden track.. Actually if i could choose 2, for the top 1, its either Maeni or Ohayo, coz i like ohayo alot too.
Different with We are smap album, in this album i like majority of the songs. Just a few that i have not warmed up to it yet.. Its not because its not good but because its not the type i like^^
My fav song in order:
1. Maeni
2. Ohayo -> usually this type of too slow song is not the type that i usually like.. but surprisingly i like Ohayo alot.. maybe because the catchy slow beat.. From now on it will be my 'oyasuminasai' song XDD
3. Boogie woogie
4. Crazy five -> the 'naaaaani' part definitely help alot this song to be my fav no 4 XDD and the chorus is so addictive too
5. Gift
6. Inakute Sabishii
7. I wanna be your man
8. Hikari
9. Just Go
10. Manatsu no Datsugokusha -> the last song i am not feeling it yet. Its easy to like Hikari and Just Go, but until now i am still not used too Manatsu no Datsugokusha. I think i need more time to absorb it, just like Angel Heart
11. Angel heart -> surprisingly Angel heart is incude in the song that i am really not feeling it yet. The chorus have catchy beat. But just that. I dont feeling any other part except the chorus. Or maybe because i have such high expectation because of Lion Heart. But i realize just the lyric writer that same with lion heart, the arranger and composer is different. Different with ohayo, the i am not really feeling the slow beat of this song yet.
11. Sakasama no sora -> i think i just feel bored with this song already.. too often hear it XDD
For solo the most solo i like is Kimura's solo La + LOVE & PEACE, its just my slow type of song. I think his solo have similar type to Ohayo, thats why i like it, and Ohayo is my second fav. And i hope he will play the guitar part too in the concert ^^ The second solo i like is surprisingly Goro-chan solo, Special Thanks. Its rare for me to like Goro's solo, maybe this is is the first time XD I think Goro's solo is abit like Kimura's type but with Goro style ^^
I am not used to Nakai's, Tsuyoshi's and Shingo's solo yet. Not because is not great but because is not my type. Nakai's is too slow for my liking. But if i have to choose Nakai would be in 3rd. Then Shingo's and the last Tsuyoshi's. Tsuyo's solo seems have a bit random beat, i feel "where this song want to go" feel LOL.. Its like an all over song, i just dont understand XDD And usually I like type of song like Monster, but i am not feeling 'Monster' of Shingo and Yamapi yet, i dont know why..
Great album is GREAT!
