Facebook constantly reminds me “remember what you looked like 6 years ago?!” It’s funny because it feels like a long time but it isn’t much. Sometimes I look at these comparisons and think about how I managed to survive my mess. I think it’s super important to make it clear that even though we go through such amazing changes, physical or mental or in any way, it doesn’t mean we’re fully set and happy. It’s okay to still struggle. Even post transition, I can’t even begin to say how much I’ve had to deal with. Your struggles are valid and so is your transition, regardless of what you’re transitioning from and to. My last thing is, every transition looks different and it matters. Your journey is important and fierce.
