She is but an observer, a mute observer.
She is looking nowhere, but she sees everything.
She smile, but her smile is broken inside and out.
She’s been waiting, but her efforts are wasted.
They thought she has it already, but she doesn’t.
She just smiles, but no one sees her broken heart.
She has the love of her life she thought, but she’s never been certain.
She gave her heart away, but now it’s broken,
Just like that smile on her face.
How long? How many more tears?
You’ve been fighting, but it’s not worth it.
When will you stop? When will you let go?
She’s been trying, but kindness and forgiveness reigns in her heart.
How many more chances can you give away?
Until you lose your breath? Or until you lose your mind?
