What a day. I swear. Starting from last night until right now. My neighbors are still being inconsiderate sons of bitches. And apparently they didn't shut off their music until 5am. I wouldn't have known since headphones were in and volume was cranked way up as I watched Arashi ni Shiyagare, which was the PERFECT way to end my New Years Eve/start my New Years Day. That Aiba segment!!! HIIILLLLAAARRIIIOOOOUUSSS. They cut to CM and I thought it was over. But thank heavens for that CM because I swear my mouth was hurting from smiling (and I'm sure I was making funny noises since I was trying not to laugh out loud as to not wake anyone up) so much! Then they had more after the CM and I was seriously going to die from keeping my laughter in. So glad they chose him for the candid camera. Aiba is seriously the best. Thanks so much for leaving his to the end.
Also, I very much enjoyed that 15 songs live thing. I would KILL to see Arashi in that kind of venue. I'm not a fan of them performing at the Dome or Kokuritsu. I can't imagine the echo people get because it's so big. I understand what a big deal it is for them to perform there and stuff and I could be overestimating the whole sound thing and I wouldn't pass over being able to see them perform at those places, but I am a major fan of intimate venues where you're close to the performer. It would be a dream of mine to see them perform in a smaller venue like that. The whole thing looked awesome and the little extra dance between the songs, the little smirk Sho gave at the beginning he was like "yeah I got this shit!," and just everything was perfect.
While watching it, I swear, it was one of those rare times where I became extremely overwhelmed with how much I love these silly guys. It's like "gaaaaad, how do you have this much hold over me?!" It's insane! It was a moment where I don't think I could have any more love than I already do for them. I was like "le sigh!!!!! I need you to give me a hug like right now!!! Just come here!!" Am I just being weird?
Glad I got to end/start my year with Arashi and they took away from my anger towards my shitty neighbors. They can seriously turn my frown upside down in a heartbeat.
Happy New Year lovelies!
P.S. Caught the rerun of Kohaku today and was able to watch Arashi's performance on tv since we left 2 hours earlier last night! Score!!
