When Cas used the last Grace, of the last Angel remaining at the end of days, God woke up. Renewed and reborn, God remembered why he loved humanity so much and he ascended at the same moment in which Castiel saved the Righteous Man, not as an angel but as a human. Castiel died then, the grace overwhelming his mortal body, but his sacrifice did not go unnoticed. When God returned, he was strong enough to do one thing. The moment Cas died, he was also endowed with wings and a new archangel was born. God had not the power to bring back his old Arch's, but Cas had earned it. Instead of death, his father welcomed him home. The only arch angel in all the world, the only one left to stand in the presence of a broken, weary God renewed and fight for humanity.
